It’s two former #1 teams, currently tied atop the Big 12 Conference, in a rematch of one of the most thrilling games of the year, as the 20-3 Oklahoma Sooners play host to the 20-4 Kansas Jayhawks. When these teams met in January, the Jayhawks came out on top, winning 109-106 in triple overtime. It was a game that saw Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield score 46 points, but fall short to the Jayhawks trio of Perry Ellis, Devonte’ Graham and Wayne Selden Jr, each of whom scored more than 20 points.
Kansas is riding a four-game winning streak during which they’ve beaten #20 Kentucky and #10 West Virginia. The Sooners recovered from their loss last Saturday to Kansas State by beating the #24 Texas Longhorns, 63-60, as Hield scored 27, lifting his season average to 25.7 points per game, second-best in all the land.
